As Creative Director and Producer, I set out to test the Leica SL3 paired with the APO-Summicron 50mm lens — exploring how this combination could capture unmatched vibrancy, depth, and tonal precision. The goal was simple: to create a portrait that would leave viewers in awe.

Inspired by Kim Kardashian’s Vogue cover surrounded by blooms, we reimagined the concept through a lens of softness and transformation. The makeup artist seamlessly blended pigments into the flowers, symbolizing the idea that the woman is the flower — continually blooming, graceful, and strong in her stillness.

Minimal clothing and a muted set allowed the lens’s colour rendition to take center stage, emphasizing every subtle hue and texture.

The result was an image that felt both editorial and emotive, a celebration of the SL3’s ability to translate delicate beauty into cinematic detail.
